Since 2014, Awaretrain has been empowering employees to become the strongest line of defence against digital threats. We tackle the root cause of information incidents by focusing on engaging employees in online security. We achieve this through our self-service security awareness platform. It offers training and interactive content, serving hundreds of (international) clients. From multinational corporations to local SMEs, we create digitally secure and information-conscious work environments. We make learning about security enjoyable and accessible. Our approach combines comprehensive training with a fun and interactive experience, activating the human firewall within organisations.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and maintain the TypeScript (Angular) based frontend of our platform.
• Conceive and develop new functionalities.
• Develop and maintain our E2E tests.
• Investigate issues with the current software and propose improvements.
• Work with the development team (front- and backend) to deliver the best possible product to our customers.
• Your opinion and ideas are indispensable!

What do we offer?

You will be working in a small, informal, and dedicated team. We tackle new things by "doing" and like to use each other's feedback. We are open to new ideas and initiatives that arise, for example, during the monthly brainstorming sessions.

The development team consists of two frontend developers, four backend developers, and a product owner. With them, you share responsibility for the development of our platform.

What do you bring to the table?

• At least 2 years of experience in developing with the Angular framework (TypeScript).
• Solid experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with Git.
• A portfolio of projects to showcase skills and experience.
• Strong team player with collaboration experience.
• Comfortable working on Linux or macOS.
• You have English proficiency at B1 level.
• You are available 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Already living in the Netherlands when replying to this vacancy.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with E2E testing frameworks (Playwright or Cypress).
• Affinity with cybersecurity.
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM team.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
